Meet Libby

I downloaded Libby by Overdrive after I poked around my library’s website and found that we have a HUGE collection of e-books and audiobooks. I spend a lot of time in the car but I’ve been hesitant to drop money on an Audible subscription. Libby is a free app that lets me check out e-books and audiobooks using my library card. You can send the borrowed material to a Kindle or another device, or you can read it right on Libby. The app is super user-friendly and took me no time at all to get familiar with.

Since downloading, I’ve finished Mrs. Fletcher (a quick read that’s been on my TBR list ever since I read about it in The New Yorker) and I’m currently listening to We Were Liars by E. Lockhart.

I’d definitely recommend Libby to anyone with a library card and a thirst for books!

  1. I have been using Libby on my iPhone for a while and I really like it. I just downloaded Libby this morning on my iPad. I’m excited to use it. I hope it’s faster than the Overdrive app!
